Why You Don't Need To Be In A Calorie Deficit Every Single Day
The weekly average matters more than the daily number. This one mindset shift makes fat loss feel way more sustainable.

Think Weekly, Not Daily
Most guys stress about hitting their exact calorie target every single day. One bad day and they feel like they've ruined everything. That's not how it works.
The Weekly Calorie Budget
Your body doesn't reset at midnight. Fat loss happens based on your average caloric intake over days and weeks, not individual meals.
If your target is 2,000 calories per day, that's 14,000 per week. Eat 1,800 on weekdays and 2,500 on Saturday? You're still at 13,500 for the week. Still in a deficit.
Why This Changes Everything
It means you can have a bigger meal on the weekend without guilt. It means one day over your target doesn't "ruin" anything. It means you can actually enjoy your social life while losing fat.
How I Use This
Weekdays, I eat slightly below my target. Simple meals, high protein, easy to control. Weekends, I eat a bit more. Maybe dinner out on Saturday. A bigger breakfast on Sunday. As long as the weekly total is in a deficit, I'm losing fat.
The Rules
1. Don't use this as an excuse to binge. A 500-calorie day followed by a 5,000-calorie day isn't the same as consistency.
2. Keep protein consistent every day. That number doesn't flex.
3. Think of it as a budget. Some days you save. Some days you spend. Just don't overspend the total.
The Result
Less stress. More flexibility. Same results. Fat loss is supposed to fit around your life, not consume it.
